Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation
Until recently, children born with one of the two lethal forms of Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) had no expectation of a normal life. Established in 1991, the EBMRF is a volunteer nonprofit foundation dedicated to the support of medical research of this disease, its causes, the development of successful treatments, and ultimately, its cure. Huntington Senior Care Network of Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, CA has offered comprehensive programs and services to keep older and disabled adults healthy and independent since 1984. A special focus is assisting families to obtain and coordinate a range of community services their frail elderly loved ones may need to live at home as long as possible. The National Committee for the Prevention of Elder Abuse (NCPEA) is an association of researchers, practitioners, educators, and advocates dedicated to protecting the safety, security, and dignity of America's most vulnerable citizens. Established in 1988 its mission is to prevent abuse, neglect, and exploitation of older persons and adults with disabilities through research, advocacy, public and professional awareness, interdisciplinary exchange, and coalition building.

OUR HOUSE believes that grieving children and adults deserve the opportunity to begin the healing process in a safe, warm, nurturing environment. We also believe that the healing process is enhanced through the relationships that are developed in support groups. OUR HOUSE was founded in 1993 by Jo-Ann Lautman. Ms. Lautman has been a grief specialist in the Los Angeles area since 1980.
